Notes
The far corner of the Tet and the quietest bunk in the park, which is the entire reason to go. The club is blunt that this is the hardest trail of the four in any season: boggy ground, a string of small waterways before and after Chapman Creek, and blowdown across the trail every year. In winter the markers go faint in the meadows and ponds above and below Chapman Lake, the cabin itself is often buried and will not serve as a landmark, and any rescue here is a ground rescue by Sunshine Coast SAR many hours out. Panther Peak is the ski objective, about 2.9 km east and 720 m above with no trail to it. The Chapman Creek bridge was replaced in summer 2024 and the stewards visit about monthly. From the upper 4WD summer lot it is 10.4 km.
